El gran fotógrafo de moda PAOLO ROVERSI comprende bién esta idea, y así la plasma en dos de sus últimas editoriales firmadas por él para Vogue Italia. PURA CONTRADICCIÓN!!! O COHERENCIA... ¿Lo veís? No se puede parar...

Black & White... Angels & Devils... Brightness & Darkness... Day & Night... Courage & Fear... Lightness & Volumes... Subtlety & Roughness... Simplicity & Sumptuousness... And so on I could stay all Day... & Night...

´Cause Life are CONTRADICTIONS and we have to live with them... And we love it!!! If not, all would be too boring!!

The great fashion photographer PAOLO ROVERSI understands very well this idea, and that is how he embodies it in two of his last editorials signed by him for Vogue Italy. PURE CONTRADICTION!!! OR COHERENCE... Can you see it? You can never stop it...

Todos amamos a los grandes clásicos de la fotografía de moda como Irving Penn, Helmut Newton o Richard Avedon (De quien os hablé en el anterior post acerca de la gran vida de Diana Vreeland), pero también es importante dar a conocer a las nuevas caras que se encuentran detrás de la cámara, intentándose labrar un futuro en este difícil mundo fashionista... Así que hoy, voy a hacer acopio de mis palabras y os voy a presentar a uno de mis recientes descubrimientos.

We all love all the big classics of the fashion photography such as, Irving Penn, Helmut Newton or Richard Avedon (whom I spoke to you in my last post about the great life of Diana Vreeland), but it´s also very important to help, the new faces that are behind the camera, trying to carve out a future for themselves in this hard fashionista world, become known. So today, I´m going to gather all my words toguether & introduce you to one of my latest discoveries.

Ella es JAMIE NELSON, una fotógrafa de moda y belleza afincada en Nueva York, cuyo trabajo poco a poco ya se va viendo en numerosas revistas internacionales como ELLE, Glamour, Harper´s Bazaar o Vanity Fair, así como en campañas publicitarias. Su trabajo es realmente extraordinario, tomando la inspiración de todo alrededor de ella: tejidos, personas, sonidos y lugares. Y además, intenta buscar activamente su inspiración fuera de la fotografía lo máximo posible. Nelson consigue dejar su huella en cada foto que hace, gracias a su entusiasta sentido de la estética y creatividad con un toque vintage y clásico.

Recientemente, ha expuesto su obra en la exposición de arte del New Museum/Chandelier de Nueva York, así como en una exposición colectiva en Roma.

She is JAMIE NELSON, a beauty and fashion photographer settled down in New York, whose work is gradually being published in numerous international magazines such as ELLE, Glamour, Harper´s Bazaar or Vanity Fair, as well as in commercial ads. Her work is really remarkable, taking inspiration from everything around her: textures, people, sounds and places. And also she tries actively to seek inspiration outside of photography as much as possible. Nelson manages to leave her mark on each photograph she makes, thanks to her keen sense of aesthetics and creativity with a vintage and classic touch.

Recently, she has participated in a New Museum/Chandalier art exhibit in New York, as well as a collective exhibit in Rome.

¿No os encanta? Yo no sabría con que quedarme, pero me parece preciosa esta última editorial para Elle Mexico. Es tan romántica, naif y delicada... I love it!!

¿Don´t you love it? I wouldn´t know which one would I fancy the most, but I find very beautiful this last editorial for Mexico Elle magazine. It´s so romantic, naive & delicate... I love it!!
